Last weekend, our CEO, Saurabh Agarwal had the opportunity to visit the newly opened Isha Ashram in Bengaluru.

He was invited to conduct a digital marketing session at the Gen A Entrepreneurship Bootcamp organized by the Sadhguru Academy.

The bootcamp brought together around 40 participants from different industries, all interested in learning how digital strategies can help build and scale modern businesses.

The two-day program combined entrepreneurship learning with mindfulness, yoga, and community interaction, creating an environment that was both energetic and calm at the same time.

Day 1: A Full Day of Digital Marketing Fundamentals

The first day of the program focused on building strong digital marketing fundamentals for entrepreneurs.

There was an in-depth session on digital marketing fundamentals. The discussion focused on practical frameworks that help businesses think clearly about their marketing strategy, including:

  • AIDA framework – A classic marketing model that explains how communication moves a customer from Attention → Interest → Desire → Action.
  • CDA framework – A simple approach to digital marketing that focuses on creating valuable Content, ensuring effective Distribution, and driving customer Action.
  • POEM model (Paid, Owned, and Earned Media) – A framework that categorizes marketing channels into paid promotions, brand-owned platforms, and audience-driven exposure.

The session also highlighted how a structured approach to digital marketing helps entrepreneurs build visibility, reach the right audience, and create sustainable growth over time.

Participants were highly engaged throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and discussing how these frameworks could be applied to their own businesses and industries.

Day 2: Learnings From Isha’s Organic Marketing at Scale

Interestingly, the second day became a learning experience for everyone. On the second day, the focus shifted to understanding how Isha Foundation executes organic marketing at scale.

The session was led by Sashank Venkata from the Isha Foundation, who shared a detailed breakdown of how the organization approaches organic marketing and content at scale.

One of the examples discussed was the Mahashivaratri campaign that generated over 2 billion views across social media platforms.

The team explained how the campaign generated over 2 billion views on Instagram. During the session, they deconstructed the entire case study and shared how consistent content creation, strong community engagement, and multi-platform distribution helped them achieve such massive reach.

The case study explained how Isha achieves this scale using:

  • A strong purpose-driven message
  • Consistent content creation across platforms
  • Multiple social media handles and distribution channels
  • Community-driven sharing and engagement

Platforms like Instagram, YouTube, email, WhatsApp, and community networks all work together to amplify their message.

Key Insights From the Experience

A few insights from the sessions stood out strongly:

  • Purpose-driven storytelling builds deep trust: When the message is meaningful, audiences naturally connect with the brand.
  • Consistency compounds reach: Regular content creation over time builds momentum and visibility.
  • Community is the real distribution engine: When people believe in the mission, they become active participants in spreading the message.
  • Content velocity matters: To stay relevant today, brands need to produce and distribute content consistently without slowing down.

Experience Beyond Learning in the Ashram

Beyond the sessions, the overall environment at the ashram left a strong impression.

The blend of entrepreneurship learning, mindfulness, yoga, and community interaction created a truly unique experience.

Despite the intensity of the sessions, sometimes stretching to 12 hours in a day — the time seemed to pass quickly in the peaceful surroundings.

One highlight of the visit was the Adiyogi sound and light show, which added a powerful and memorable end to the day.

Wrapping Up

The visit to Isha Ashram turned out to be more than just a teaching engagement for Saurabh. It showed that effective marketing is not only about strategies and tools, but about purpose, community, and sharing meaningful stories consistently.

Experiences like these show how the right blend of clear thinking, meaningful content, and strong communities can create lasting impact at scale.

At DAiOM, we continue to explore and share such learnings to help businesses build stronger digital foundations and grow with clarity in the digital age.
