We are pleased to share that the CEO of DAiOM, Saurabh Agrawal, recently had the honor of attending and speaking at the prestigious ABG – GDNA Day, organised by the Aditya Birla Group. 

This event, organized by the Aditya Birla Group’s Group Data and Analytics (GDNA) cell in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), was a fulcrum event designed to bring together leaders from various sectors within the Aditya Birla Group. The goal was to explore best practices and emerging trends in AI and data analytics, essential areas for driving future growth and innovation.

The Aditya Birla Group, a global conglomerate with a $100 billion footprint spanning industries such as cement, manufacturing, and retail, is known for its focus on leading-edge technology and innovation. The GDNA Day served as a platform for the group’s companies to exchange insights on how AI can be leveraged to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall business strategy.

Saurabh Agrawal’s contribution to the event was a focused 11-minute fireside chat with Satya Pattanayak, where he shared key insights drawn from his extensive experience in building data-driven cultures. 

The session, intentionally designed without the aid of PowerPoint presentations, encouraged an engaging and powerful discussion around three core themes:

1. Building an Analytics Culture

Saurabh Agrawal elaborated on the challenges and successes in cultivating a strong analytics culture within both startups and large enterprises. He highlighted how a data-driven mindset is not just a technological shift but a cultural one that requires buy-in at every level of the organization.

2. Preparing Enterprises for AI

Emphasizing the critical importance of being data-ready, Saurabh Agrawal explained how enterprises must ensure that their data infrastructure is robust and scalable to support AI initiatives. He also underscored the significance of AI maturity assessments. He noted that understanding where an organization stands in its AI journey is crucial for identifying areas for improvement and setting realistic goals.
